THE BEGINNING

In the beginning, there was Arthur, a poverty-stricken man who is the inspiration behind our humanitarian campaign Love United.

 ”I met Arthur on a trip to San Francisco.  I ran into him outside of a grocery store as I was heading back to our hotel after an eventful day of meetings and photoshoots.  I was tired, cold, and starving, yet he needed my attention. We talked cordially, and I soon began to feel rejuvinated just from talking with him.  Although I was only able to give him a couple of dollars, he was overjoyed.  It touched my heart to see such joy from only a few dollars given and an hour of my time.  Truthfully, I wished I could have helped him more.”

From that moment forward, everything changed for Seanloui.  Arthur’s vivacious personality and humble heart sparked the desire to help others in need, thus creating our organization Unitepeople.

WHO WE ARE

Our motto says it all:  Build the Coalition . We are an organization whose main purpose is to build the coalition to empower those in poverty through urban farming.  We do this by raising up local leaders and giving a voice for them  and others in need through urban farming and advocacy .
